Statement of Faith
Our core beliefs and biblical foundations.
At Christian Prayer Room Network, we hold to the historic Christian faith as revealed in the Holy Scriptures. The following statements represent our core beliefs:
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our final authority for faith and practice. "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16).
The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal, one in nature, attributes, and purpose.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling enables believers to live godly lives. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit for the edification of the Church and the work of ministry.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We are saved by grace through faith, not by works. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8).
Prayer
We believe in the power and necessity of prayer. Prayer is our direct communication with God and a vital practice for every believer. Through prayer, we worship, intercede, petition, and commune with our Heavenly Father. "Pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
The Church
We believe in the universal Church, the body of Christ, made up of all believers. We also believe in the importance of the local church for worship, fellowship, teaching, and the exercise of spiritual gifts.
The Return of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead. We look forward to the resurrection of believers and eternal life in the presence of God.
"But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." — John 20:31
